ACCOLADES: Are we seriously supposed to post our own? Isn't that kind of weird? I don't think anyone actually cares about getting an award in chemistry at a school like this.

Oh no!
What's it doing?
I don't actually know a lot about blight.
And to be honest, I'm only kind of okay at most spells.
But I could ask my Tíos if they know anything.

uhhhh well basically because the blight is in my blood
and radiance and blight are kind of opposites
i cant cast spells based on radiance very well
they cancel each other out

Also, I think runes are supposed to use outland magic so maybe that's why it works with blight.
You should tell me the other stuff you can do as you try it.
It's the way of the Rivera to make sure every magic user is comfortable.
Or at least, that's what we try to do most of the time.

Okay so maybe it's not the Rivera way but it should be!
We try to make it be at my house.
My Tíos work on their inovations and Mamá is really talented.
There's so much magic that mages could be improving and making easier-- and sharing!
But even though we don't live with Mama's family we've got to follow their silly rules.
I love mi abuelito y abuelita, pero, some of the mage rules are still dumb!
Even Mamá thinks so.
So, I want to make sure magic doesn't hurt you to use it too.
That's not what magic should do.
