STATUS: Student (Sophomore-ish)
ACCOLADES: Are we seriously supposed to post our own? Isn't that kind of weird? I don't think anyone actually cares about getting an award in chemistry at a school like this.
BIO: Hey, um. I'm Peter Parker. Nice to meet you? Oh man I'm bad at profiles that don't involve, like, tumblr gifs or movie quotes. The coolest thing I've done recently is like. Smuggle in a Lego kit. (It's pretty awesome at least??)
"Hey, this is Peter. Leave me a message and I'll get right back to you."

[ He makes the gesture one more time. This time, there's a tell tale flicker as his hands light up. Gently, gently, he places his hands along her bruises, smoothing his fingers over the darkened spots to soothe them away. ]
no subject
[She looks up at him, bursting with pride.]
You're a wizard, Peter.
no subject
Oh god. He actually healed her. He'd closed his eyes during the process, not daring to look, but - that's definitely healthy skin now, right? No bruises at all ... This smile is practically glowing. ]
I - I guess I am? Holy shit, that's the coolest thing I've ever done.

[The excitement in his smile is enough to pull more heat to her cheeks. She loves it when he looks that happy. It's the reason she watched his vlog twice, after all.]
I think you'll have an easier time with spells now. It'll still take a lot of work and practice, but I think you just needed to know what it felt like to call up magic and activate it. The rest...learning the right gestures and words...will be really easy for someone who can memorize chemical compounds and complex math formulas.

Too bad his hands are throbbing now. They're kind of reddened and splotchy, like he'd really scalded them. ]
Yeah, I never have any trouble with that part. That's just science, like you said. I was doing the exact same gestures and everything.

[She almost wants to hug him, but the moment she notices the marks on his hands, her smile drops right off of her face.]
What's this...?
[Orihime takes his wrist, careful not to touch anything red, and gently turns it to expose his palm.]
That shouldn't have happened. It looks really painful. ...Does it hurt?
no subject
[ Oh. He sort of startles as he looks down at his blotchy hands. She's very careful, so she doesn't hurt him - but he pokes at a red spot like a dumbass, and thus deserves that wince. ]
Whoa. Yeah, it's all sensitive. It looks like a sunburn or something.
no subject
[She has no idea, she didn't grow up as a mage, and this definitely never got brought up in her class. She twists away from him to dig out her phone, then brings it up to take a picture and send it to his phone.]
There. Show this to your professor tomorrow, maybe they'll know why this happened. It's okay if I heal it for you?
no subject
A magic allergy would make so much sense. Like - I'd feel way better about not being good at it, y'know? Cause it's not really my fault.
[ He holds out his hands to her for healing - and then pauses. ]
Wait. Do that again first. I still haven't fixed your leg.
no subject
[She doesn't want him to get hurt, but she also knows how important it is for him to finally use magic. There's no way she could deny him anything he asks, and her leg is so much worse.]
Just don't push yourself too hard. If it starts to hurt, you can stop and try again later.
no subject
Of course. I totally will. But I think even if it hurts me you can fix it, right?
no subject
[She looks down at her leg, fiddling with the hem of her skirt.]
It's just hard, knowing you're getting hurt to help me. But as long as it helps you learn to wield magic, I don't mind as much.
no subject
That way outweighs any pain from magical allergies, okay. Even if you couldn't heal me, my healing factor can probably handle it too.
no subject
I hope so! It's a useful ability for sure.
[She braces herself, then holds to each of his wrists to infuse him with more of her power. He didn't manifest any pain before when she did it, so she keeps the amount and flow the same as last time.]
Okay. Do your best!
no subject
As before, he relaxes as she lets that power flow into him, taking a moment to bask in that warm glow. That part feels nice, for sure. ]
All right, give me a minute. Let me just ...
[ He makes a more complicated set of gestures this time, for the greater bruise healing spell. As before, his hands light up, brighter this time; he gently settles them on her leg, soothing away the marks. ]
no subject
[But she wasn't kidding when she said that her leg really hurt. It was worse than her arm, and that was the part that got hit by the van. Her breath hitches a little as he wills away the infliction, and slowly, slowly, her body relaxes. This is what it's like to be healed by someone... She wonders if he feels this too when she uses her powers on him.]
At least...you'll pass our healing class easily, ne...?
[She smiles as she closes her eyes, just savoring the feel of his soul.]
no subject
He opens his eyes after, beaming again when he sees his handiwork. ]
Only if I can cheat off of you. But it's nice knowing that I can do it.
no subject
But...maybe if you have a legitimate reason why you can't cast spells directly, you can at least make up for it in tests and exams, and extra credit reports.
[She opens her eyes and smiles at him.]
I think you'll get this in time.
no subject
[ Speaking of which. This time he winces as his hands redden further, blistering a little. He makes a face when he finds a small section of skin kind of flaking away, like it would from a bad sunburn. He picks at it, wincing. ]
Yowch. Cheating really isn't going to be an option either, huh.
no subject
[She can't really hold herself back. Conjuring up Shun'ou and Ayame, she spans the disk of light over his hands and focuses her power on rejecting the ugly red splotches and blisters.]
Sorry. I hope I didn't push too hard.
no subject
-- Oh man, we should have taken a picture before you healed me.
[ Yep. That's his concern here. ]
no subject
[At least they have the one where the splotches weren't quite so unbearable.]
But my legs feels a lot better now. Thank you for healing it!
no subject
[ He seems genuinely relieved here - he'd thought he was just a failure. ]
no subject
[Her shoulders hitch with happy embarrassment. She's so glad she could help him out. Being new to magic herself, she wasn't sure, but it worked out for the best in the end!]
Then I'm glad. You've done so much for me, it's nice when I can return the favor.
