[OOC] [Daybreak] Permissions/Pings Post

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
  • Hair/Eyes: Brown/Brown

  • Height/Build: 5'6", lean and athletic (think gymnast)

  • Age: 16 (10th grade)

  • Clothing: Nerdy t-shirts and hoodies when he's not in his school uniform. The uniform is awkward and new; his casual clothes are all obviously thrift store or hand-me-downs.

  • Scars: A small cut over his left eyebrow.

  • Misc.: Peter is absurdly strong! He still has a bit of a hard time not breaking stuff on accident.

SUPERNATURAL PINGS
Peter has a whole lot of nonsense going on with him. Anyone with supernatural senses are welcome to notice any (or all) of the weirdness listed below. They're listed in order of obviousness, with some %s just to give you a general sense of how much of him shows up as X when you look at him.
  • Candle (60%): No surprises here. He has Radiance like other Candles, his powers are technically Flame magic (with one exception), etc.

  • Blight (20%): Peter still has Blight in his blood, courtesy of the spider that bit him. It kind of changed his DNA with magic or whatever, so that's permanently a thing! This is mostly relevant for vampires and people who want blood transfusions; it might also matter if he bleeds on you and you're allergic or something.

  • Fey Pact (10%): Oh boy. This a windy ball of bullshit all right. Depending on how familiar your character is with Fey pacts, you may be able to sense that a) Peter is involved in one, b) Peter is the SUBJECT of one, and c) said pact is wound all through him and predicated on some contractual condition. Basically, the more people who know he's dead, the weaker the magic keeping him alive gets.

  • Seer (5%): Due to his spider senses, Peter technically (if only barely) registers as a seer. Anyone who can sense Seers will be pinged by him, but it's so incredibly weak you'd be forgiven for missing it.

  • Undead (5%): The most important ping, but also the hardest to see. His Fey pact has some glamour worked into it to hide this aspect of himself from ... well, himself! Also everyone else. Note that Peter still acts like he's alive (and needs to eat, sleep, etc.), and stuff that affects undead will affect him on a case by case basis instead of 100% of the time.
You are more than welcome to notice any or all of the above! Just please drop me a comment below if your character finds out Peter is dead as his pact weakens with each person who finds out in game. PLEASE PLEASE feel free to figure out he's dead just by looking at him, or find out in general, or whatever. This is going to be the highlight of RPing him in Daybreak I swear, so don't feel like you have to hold back. Once he gets bad enough, he'll need help staying alive, but a) that shit is fun and b) I have some takers already, so your character won't accidentally kill him or something. I also highly encourage sketchier folks to use his pact terms to try and blackmail him (aka threaten to tell everyone about him so he gets weaker, etc.) That would be some delightful negative CR.

IC PERMISSIONS
  • Physical Affection: Sure thing! Just keep things PG-13 overall.

  • Physical Violence: Also awesome. Again with the PG-13 rating. FTB for implied violence is fine too.

  • Relationships: I love relationships!! Pete is bi, so all genders are okay. Expect cuteness and awkwardness over anything heavily romantic.

  • Squicks/Triggers: Nothing to avoid in character. Eventually he's going to get real tired of people telling him he's dead.

OOC DESCRIPTION
  • Backtagging: Always welcome. You may have to ping me if it been over a week since the last comment.

  • Threadhopping: Ask for fights/rescues, otherwise go for it!

  • Fourthwalling: N/A

  • Squicks/Triggers: No breaking/bending back fingers, no fingernail trauma. Negative CR is always A+ but let's talk if it's gonna get too manipulative and/or gross.

  • Other: I'm always open to talk if you wanna do something weird! Hit me up on plurk at [plurk.com profile] katoptron
